The Hot 40 series, which includes the three phones Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40, and Hot 40i, was announced by Infinix. A 5,000 mAh battery and a software function called Xboost gaming engine are included with every device to help the hardware perform better while gaming.

Infinix Hot 40 Pro

With a 6nm Helio G99 CPU, this smartphone is the most powerful among the three. With a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the 6.78" LCD screen can handle a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz.

The Hot 40 Pro comes with two storage options: 128 GB and 256 GB. There is just one RAM option: 8 GB.With a 108 MP sensor, the Infinix Hot 40 Pro boasts the best primary camera. A 2 MP macro camera and what appears to be a "AI cam" are positioned next to it on the back.

The 32 MP selfie shooter resides inside a punch hole, and Infinix created a Magic Ring—a notification area similar to a Dynamic Island—around it. It provides information while the phone is being charged, used while on a call, or unlocked.

A sort of Infinix game launcher, the Xboost engine allows for "enhanced stability" when playing. There are three layers to correspond with three different levels of game immersion. If not, the phone boots into XOS 13.5, which is based on Android 13.

With the 33W charger included in the package, Infinix claims that the Hot 40 Pro's battery can be charged from 20% to 75% in 35 minutes. Furthermore, the battery has a 1,600 charge cycle endurance, equivalent to more than 4 years of daily phone use.

Infinix is offering the Hot 40 Pro in four colors – Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.

The minimal Hot 40 and its Pro sibling are similar in most aspects, such as the 6.78" LCD, 33W charging capability, and the 5,000 mAh cell. The display has a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz, but strangely, it has a higher touch sampling rate of up to 270 Hz.

The primary camera is another distinction. The 50 MP f/1.6 camera of the Hot 40 is paired with the same pointless 2 MP macro + AI cameras. Fortunately, the 32 MP selfie camera is once more hidden within the Magic Ring.

The Hot 40 has a more modest 12nm Helio G88 chipset with a 2.0 GHz CPU a. RAM is 8 GB, while storage is 128 GB or 256 GB.

Infinix Hot 40 is available in the same four colors as the Pro – Blue, Gold, Black, and Green.

Infinix Hot 40i

The cheapest phone in the series is the Hot 40i. The Unisoc T606 chipset is equipped with an octa-core CPU, which consists of six Cortex-A55 units for efficiency at 1.6 GHz and two Cortex-A75 performance cores operating at 1.6 GHz. The Mali-G57 MC1 GPU operates at a frequency of 650 Hz.

A 6.56" LCD with HD+ resolution is likewise a degradation, but at least Infinix maintained the 90 Hz refresh rate and added a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. There are two storage options: 128 GB or 256 GB, and 4 or 8 GB of RAM.

With a 50 MP primary camera and an AI camera, the Hot 40i's camera island resembles that of the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro. However, the 32 MP selfie camera with the Magic Ring is still available. Although the launcher has been updated to XOS 13.0, Android 13 should still serve as its base OS.

The 5,000 mAh battery can only charge at 18W rates, which is another compromise made by the phone to maintain its low cost. Infinix Hot 40i comes in Black, Blue, Gold, and Green.
