Samsung has just launched a new version of its Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in China, but with a different name: the Samsung W25. This new foldable phone comes with some exciting changes, including a stylish redesign. The phone has golden accents around the hinge, frame, and even on the camera lenses, giving it a more luxurious feel.
Along with the W25, Samsung also introduced the W25 Flip, a redesigned version of the Galaxy Z Flip6. Just like the W25, the W25 Flip gets a new look, but it keeps the same core features as the original Galaxy Z Flip6.
Key Features of the Samsung W25 (Galaxy Z Fold SE)
The W25 is a more polished version of the Galaxy Z Fold6. It offers a bigger screen, a thinner profile, and a powerful 200 MP main camera. In China, this model is available with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, but there's also a new version with a massive 1TB of storage. This makes the W25 one of the most powerful foldable phones on the market right now.
Key Features of the Samsung W25 Flip
The W25 Flip is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip6 in terms of specs. It comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. The phone also supports 25W fast charging.
Premium Packaging
Both phones come in a special Black Gold Premium Gift Box. Inside, you'll find a 25W charger and a case made of faux leather, adding to the luxury experience.
Pricing and Availability
Samsung has not yet announced the exact prices for the W25 and W25 Flip in China. However, we expect the W25 to start at around CNY 16,999 (approximately $2,400 / €2,200 / ৳2,87,000), while the W25 Flip will likely be priced at CNY 9,999 (around $1,400 / €1,300 / ৳1,67,000). These phones are expected to be sold only in China, so it’s unlikely they will be available in other countries.
This launch shows Samsung's focus on offering premium foldable phones with unique designs and advanced features, but for now, these phones are exclusive to the Chinese market.
