For some time now, there have been various rumors and leaks about vivo's future foldables, including speculation that an official announcement should take place near the end of this month.
Today, a fresh promotional poster was published in China, confirming not just the broad timeline but also providing a date and hour. So, vivo's X Fold3 series will be unveiled on March 26 at 7 p.m. local time.
This time around, we're anticipating two foldables: the 'vanilla' X Fold3 and the X Fold3 Pro. According to previous rumors, the former model will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a 5,500 mAh battery, whereas the Pro will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a 5,800 mAh battery.
Both will be water-resistant up to IPX8, with an 8.03" folding screen, a 6.53" cover screen, two ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, and Android 14. The only apparent distinction between them is the Pro's usage of a periscope telephoto lens, which the non-Pro lacks.
