CSTN (Color Super Twisted Nematic) - definition
A Super Twisted Nematic is a type of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that could provide only a monochromic color pattern using only two basic colors black and white. But CSTN denoted Color-Super twisted Nematic display which can produce color pixels in LCDs using three (3) basic color combinations that are: RED, BLUE & GREEN. A single pixel is a combination of these three (3) separate colors in CSTN. The grey shades of these three (3) colors can produce from 4K to 65K color combinations.
