Half-QWERTY keyboard layout was designed for multiple operations. In some cases it is used for one handed operation. In one key two letters are inserted, depending on the press it selects the character. Also, it is measured for few people one handed keyboard of half QWERTY keyboard increases the typing speed as it separates the hand movement locations and reduce it surprisingly.
