SD (Secure Digital) - definition
A Secure Digital or SD is a tiny piece of flash memory that can store a huge amount of data and can be used as an external storage chip for so many portables or devices such a music player, mobile phone, car players, GPS navigators, consoles, tablets, computers and so on. It is a non-volatile memory that can keep the data stored even without power. It is a family of solid-state storage devices.
